Empowering All Students to Achieve Excellence

Atlantis

Atlantis

The Atlantis Program provides differentiated instruction in an alternate setting for academically gifted and talented students. The program is designed to challenge students, extend classroom learning, and foster both independent and collaborative skills.

Atlantis has three main components:

  1. Independent Study Projects
Students are mentored on projects based on their individual areas of interest. In addition to building knowledge, they develop research and project management skills such as goal-setting and creating original work for real audiences.

  2. Group Projects
Students collaborate on group projects that enrich and extend the general classroom curriculum. Through these experiences, they strengthen their teamwork, research, and presentation skills.

  3. Enrichment Activities
Students participate in a variety of enrichment opportunities based on areas of interest. These activities are designed to deepen learning within specific domains and encourage creative problem-solving.
